Welcome back!

This year, I will be posting a new listening video each week from youtube. Each video won't necessarily have to be watched actively, but can be turned on during homework or even during dinner. Listening to 30 minutes of music each day is part of practice and can enhance your musicality tremendously. Some examples are classical music of any period, movie soundtracks, or even jazz. Each weekly video will just be a way to get you started.

This first listening post comes from a series of animated movies from Japan that we've been watching over the summer. Beautiful animation, great story, but even better music. Plus, it primarily features piano and cello which, not so coincidentally, I teach. :) Enjoy!
