gearing up for fall

Ok all my students, we are finishing up with half-time summer and getting ready for fall. I am officially postponing our master class that was slated for August 23. With all who have been on hiatus through the summer at various points, we will be moving the master class into the fall. I would like to give all students a chance to be better prepared before we invite your families to attend a full master class. There is my end-of-summer gift to you all.

I will be in touch with you individually concerning your day for fall schedule.

The amazing Sol Gabetta. A new favorite to watch. Things to watch: she feels it! Experience the music, not just playing the notes. You, my students, know what I mean.

Playing in the rain

While the concert was back in June, it was such fun. And in the rain! I'm the cellist under the red and blue striped umbrella. One of my awesome students came up on stage to protect my cello from the elements. Bless her! And while the rain may have thrown a bit of a wrench into our quality and concert order, it sure was a night to remember!
